Nigerian Wins UN Miss Tourism In Jamaica

History was made today Sunday, December 9th, 2012 in Kingston, the capital city of the third largest Island of the greatest Achilles, Jamaica as a Nigerian girl walked tall to beat other 50 leggy beauty Queens from across the world to a keenly contested international pageant, Miss Tourism United Nations.

The lucky girl, Gbemisola Shotade, 21 an undergraduate of the University of Lagos was also chosen as  Miss Congeniality at the pageant while her costume won the Best traditional arttire.

As the 2012/2013 Miss Tourism United Nations' Queen, Gbemi's prizes include $10,000 cash, a modeling contract with Oil Sheen, one of the topflight beauty brands in Jamaica and U.S and a great opportunity to travel around the Caribbean Island.

On her trail as runners up at the international competition are Miss Jamaica who's the First Runner-Up, Miss Caribbean, second Runner-Up followed by Miss Europe.
Others who are part of the top 10 winners are Miss America, Miss Belize, Miss Bolivia, Miss Bahamas, United Kingdom to mention but a few.
