Police Foil Robbery at ATM, recover N6m loot

Luck ran out of some robbers on Sunday in Sagamu, Ogun state
South-West Nigeria when Police rescued a sum of six million naira
looted from an ATM of a commercial bank.

Reports say the robbers acting on hints that the machine has just
been reloaded, blew open the ATM using methane gas and other
dangerous objects.

The police in the area however stormed the venue of the robbery
in Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) and foiled the operation.

The robbers took to their heels leaving behind Six million naira
looted from the machine.

Meanwhile, Police in a statement said suspects have been arrested
for conspiracy in the robbery.
